High protein pasta dish click here

Above are the main ingredients you will need to make this yummy pasta dish, but you might also want the following:

  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper for taste
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese to go on top!

(If I am making this dish for myself I use half of the pasta box and it will make more than enough for dinner and lunch the next day.)

Step one: Start boiling some water 

Step two: Slice the jalapeños and put in a sauté pan with about 1/3 cup of olive oil. Let these guys cook for about 8ish minutes. Then add in spinach and sauté for another 3 minutes. The spinach will really cook down so I use about half a bag.

Step three: Drain the lentil noodles and put back in the pot. Add in veggies and add sauce (your  sauciness level is up to you). I normally do half a jar. Sprinkle in about 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella (I use the skim mozzarella from Trader Joe's). Let the sauce begin to bubble. Stir for another two minutes and it's done!

Pretty quick and easy. 

Okay so these Lentil noodles.. I heard about them from other bloggers so I had to try them. I will never use regular noodles again! They have about 1/3 the carbs and tons of protein. I'm a vegetarian so I'll take protein where I can get it. You can buy them at places like Trader Joe's or Whole foods. My favorite is the green lentil pasta above from whole foods.
