pg. 17 - casual work vibes

Q: My office dress code is pretty relaxed, but I still wan't to look professional. Any tips?

Paige: I feel ya! It's hard to find a happy medium, between too laid back and over dressed. If you can wear jeans to the office adding a blazer is an easy professional look. Finding a blazer you love and can wear over and over again is key! I have a few blazers in my closet and I always seem to reach for this one, because it has the perfect amount of stretch AND no shoulder pads. Just keep and eye out for that one true love. I found mine at Madewell, they seem to come out with a blazer each season.

Another easy office casual look is a blouse, dark jeans, and a block heel. I opt for this look at least once a week.

I have been wanting to play around with the sneakers and blazer look. Every time I look through a J. Crew catalog one of the models is wearing a blazer + sneakers so I just went for it! I was actually surprised at how much I like this look. I will defiantly be adding it to my office look rotation.

I am going to work on posting more office casual looks because I feel like it is one of the hardest occasions (if thats the right word) to dress for. Side note: this sweater I am wearing is my favorite thing in my closet currently. I would 10 out of 10 recommend.

Okay here is a few of my favorite store to shop four work wear:
